In the village of Anceu, a stroll through the woods reveals two contrasting paintings hanging from the roots of a eucalyptus tree. One is the creation of a human artist, while the other belongs to an Artificial Intelligence (AI). These pieces are the outcome of a collaboration between Cuco, a graphic artist, and Anis Sakkaf, an AI developer. In April 2023, they embarked on an artistic residency at Anceu Coliving, a community for digital nomads, with a mission to train an AI to paint in Cuco's style, resulting in these two final works. My documentary follows the entire journey from inception to completion, documenting the collaborative creative process between the human artist and the AI.
En el pueblo de Anceu, un paseo por el bosque revela dos cuadros contrapuestos, colgados de las raíces de un eucalipto. Una es la creación de un humano, mientras que la otra pertenece a una Inteligencia Artificial (IA). Estas piezas son el resultado de una colaboración entre Cuco, un artista gráfico, y Anis Sakkaf, un desarrollador de IA.
